Global economic growth likely to derail with COVID, inflation, income inequality: World Bank
Fresh threats from COVID-19 and its variants, along with a rise in inflation, debt and income inequality will lead to a dip in global economic growth in the years 2022 and 2023. According to a World Bank report, the global economic growth will drop sharply from 5.5 per cent in 2021 to 4.1 per cent in 2022 and dip further to 3.2 per cent in 2023 due to the mentioned reasons.
