UPI transactions up 70 times in last 4 years, debit card transactions dip

There has been a lower increase in currency in circulation as more people are now using digital modes of payments. During April 2021-Nov2021 so far, incremental currency in circulation stood at just Rs 1.3 lakh crore compared to Rs 3.2 lakh crore during the same period last year
