Extra Fees for Withdrawing Cash over the Prescribed Limit

Banking Rules to change from 1st August: These rules of banks are getting to change from 1st August. there'll be a fee for withdrawing over and above the prescribed limit from ATM.

From August 1, the principles of money withdrawal and check book are getting to change, which can become costlier . Now people will need to pay extra money for these services. If you withdraw money from the ATM over the prescribed limit, then you'll need to pay a fee for that. If the transaction fails, then you'll need to buy that too. ATM holders will now need to pay extra money on cash withdrawal than before. ICICI Bank has informed its customers about this

Extra Charges for Ordering Subsequent Cheque Book

From August 1, no fee will need to be purchased a check book of 25 pages. After this a further fee of Rupees 20 will need to be paid. this may be applicable every 10 pages.

Other Banking New Rules to change from 1st August

  • There will be no fee for doing 4 transactions during a month.
  • For transactions above this, a fee of Rupees 150 will need to be paid.
  • From August 1, cash transactions of up to Rupees 1 lakh are often done from your bank's home branch.
  • For transactions above this, you'll need to pay a fee of Rupees 5 per thousand. a minimum of 150 rupees need to be paid.
  • 25 thousand rupees are going to be free each day from non-home branch. For transactions above this, a fee of Rupees 5 will need to be paid per thousand.
  • Customer charges also will increase
  • The transaction fee for customers is Rupees 20, which has been increased to Rupees 21 from January 1, 2022. For this, RBI has given exemption to banks. The date of 1 January 2022 has been fixed for its implementation.

ICICI Bank's New Rules and information to customers

ICICI Bank has already informed its customers. This information has been given regarding the transaction of ATM. These revised charges also will be applicable to the salary account holders including domestic bank account holders.

RBI Revised Banking Rules: National Automated Clearing House (NACH) Services to be Available 24x7 from 1 August

RBI: Till now, National Automated Clearing House (NACH) services were available only on working days.

The reserve bank of India (RBI) has announced that the bulk payment National Automated Clearing House (NACH) are going to be available on all days of the week from 1 August 2021.

This payment system used for important transfers like pension, subsidy, salary etc. was available only on working days till now. However, the same will be used on all seven days of the week from 1 August.

These bulk payments are facilitated by National Automated Clearing House (NACH). The change in rules means you'll not need to wait for a working day to receive your salary, pension or to process any bulk and important transactions.

"Effective 1 August 2021 all the sessions that are currently available on normal working days are going to be operational on all days including week end and other holidays," reads the official notice released by RBI.

ICICI Bank rules change:

The country’s largest private bank ICICI Bank has changed a number of its rules, according to which withdrawing cash from ATM will cost you extra money than before.

As per the new rules, the ICICI Bank provides 4 free ATM transactions of withdrawing cash monthly to a daily saving bank account holder. But, as per the revised rules now, you'll need to pay a sum of Rupees 150 on every transaction after you've got completed your first four free transactions.

Also, a customer can only withdraw a sum of Rupees 1,00,000 from their home branch, and withdrawing over will charge you Rupees 5 for each Rupees 1,000.

Moreover, withdrawing cash from the other branch, and not your home branch will allow you to withdraw Rupees 25,000 during a day. While withdrawing more cash than this prescribed limit will charge you Rupees 5 for withdrawing every Rupees 1,000. 

A checkbook of 25 pages are going to be provided by the ICICI Bank to its customers for free of charge and followed by this, a replacement checkbook of 10 pages will cost you Rupees 20 whenever you place a subsequent order for cheque book.

Also, from 1st August 2021, the new price for LPG commercial cylinder and domestic cylinder are going to be determined.

Moreover, from now onwards, no Salary, Pension, Dividend, or Interest income are going to be stalled on Sundays or the other legal holiday , which suggests that your income are going to be credited on the date decided itself albeit there's a legal holiday or Sunday on the particular date.'

It must be noted that the reserve bank of India (RBI) has announced that the National Automated Clearing House (NACH) will now be available on the seven days of every week
